Dr. Reyes enjoys treating patients from all walks of life with varying issues. She has a passion for teaching people with chronic pain how to modify their mindset and lifestyle so they have a more empowered healing journey. The belief that exercise, nutrition, and sleep are the pillars of optimized healing is deeply rooted in her practice and personal life. Dr. Reyes and her family practice these pillars through adventure in nature, joy in cooking whole foods, and prioritizing rest.
In 2014 during a clinical internship in Guatemala, she had the opportunity to volunteer at a local prosthetics clinic and wheelchair shop, Transitions Foundation. Her passion to provide inclusive, evidence-based care to her patients show as she strives to be the biggest cheerleader for her patients. Growing up, Dr. Emily recognized the gap in healthcare literacy for women and has been on the road since to break the stigma for all things pelvic health. In the past year her passion to educate on birth prep, empowering women pre and postpartum, and advocating for those who are limited by pain or other exacerbated symptoms has only grown. Emily recognizes that each person’s needs are different, and you must treat more than just the pelvic floor for people to feel like themselves again.
